Entrance doors Evolution with glass-aluminium door panel of the highest quality are made of a single piece of 6mm ESG tempered glass from the exterior and single piece of aluminium from the interior. The space in between is filled with XPS Plus polystyrene with improved thermal insulating properties and EPDM synthetic rubber, which can absorb thermal expansions up to 2,5mm. You can rely on Evolution doors because we use only tempered glass with very high bending strength and impact resistance. Thanks to glass, we almost completely minimized thermal expansion, and as a result the doors have much better dimensional stability. Also you will not find here any stuck, inserted or uneven parts that only increase the maintenance and decrease the functionality of a door.

1. HIGH DURABILITY OF TEMPERED GLASS

You can rely on Evolution doors because we use only tempered glass (up to 5 times stronger than normal glass) with very high bending strength and impact resistance, same as used in automobile or aviation industry. Safety is always first.

2. MINIMAL THERMAL EXPANSION AND EXCELLENT DIMENSIONAL STABILITY

Thanks to glass, we almost completely minimized thermal expansion, and as a result the doors have much better dimensional stability, which means that it is extremely unlikely they will expand or shrink due to direct sunlight or freezing temperatures.

3. LOWER WEIGHT COMPARED TO FULL GLASS DOORS

We significantly lowered the weight of Evolution doors compared to fully-glazed Vision Glass doors with triple-glazing. In some cases Evolution is ligher by almost 60% and therefore creates much lower pressure on a door frame and therefore are more stable.

4. OUTSTANDING THERMAL AND INSULATION PROPERTIES

Thermal and insulation properties meet the highest industry standards. The heat transfer coeficient (U value) is 0,62 W/(m2K) for the door panel with thickness of just 48mm. We make door panels up to 90mm in thickness (U=0,32). Panels are inserted into door frames and together they make complete door.

5. INTEGRATED GLASS

No stuck, inserted or uneven parts that only increase the maintenance and decrease the functionality of the doors. We use only triple glass for models with glazing.

6. VISUALLY ATTRACTIVE AND FUNCTIONALLY PERFECT

Clean line of a single piece of glass, simple and effective elegance, timeless appearance and luxury design create together one product, that is visually and functionally perfect as a whole.

Glass-aluminium door panel is made of a single piece of 6mm ESG tempered glass from the exterior and single piece of aluminium from the interior. The space in between is filled with XPS Plus polystyrene with improved thermal insulating properties and EPDM synthetic rubber, which can absorb thermal expansions up to 2,5mm. Models with glazings are made with triple glass. You can choose the type of a middle glass out of 35 different patterns.

Doors with Evolution INOX door panel
Structure of the panel.

Second category of Evolution doors is represented by the name INOX. It is build on the same basis, which means one piece of tempered glass from the exterior, one piece of aluminium from the interior, EPDM and XPS Plus in between. The main difference compared to Evolution models is that Evolution INOX has inox applications behind the tempered glass from exterior. The applications are not sprayed, but they are the good old classic applications we all know very well. Main benefit of this solution is that inox is behind the glass, it’s not sticking out and therefore it remains clean all the time, without any grease or dirt stuck around it. Because it’s behind the glass, it doesn’t react with the outer environment, hence its surface remains unchanged throughout the time. Models with glazings are made with triple glass. You can choose the type of a middle glass out of 35 different patterns.

Types of glazing

Exclusive series of original fully-glazed entrance doors, in which a glass panel is inserted into a frame. It is a timeless, ecological product with perfect thermal insulation properties. Glass not only looks good but also has great properties. We always use safety glass only. We produce double-glazed panels (U = 1,1) or triple-glazed panels (U = 0,6). The glass can be sandblasted, digitally printed or colour sprayed, depending on the design. Fully-glazed doors have an attractive look and feel with their simplicity and elegance thanks to the use of glass.

WHAT IS SANDBLASTING?

It is the operation of forcibly propelling a stream of abrasive material against a glass under high pressure. As a result, the glass will become opaque and will get its typical “milk” tones.

WHAT IS A DIGITAL PRINT / COLOURED SPRAY?

Thanks to digital technology, we can print difficult patterns or even high resolution photos directly on the glass, which opens endless choices to your fantasy and creativity. For simple patterns we use coloured spray.

WHY IS THIS DOOR PANEL FILLED WITH ARGON?

Argon is a non-toxic gas, which increases thermal and sound insulation of the whole glass panel. It is used to fill the air gap in between the glass. Less noise, more heat and therefore lower bills for heating.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DOUBLE-GLAZING AND TRIPLE-GLAZING?

Double-glazing is nowadays mostly used in older apartment blocks, non-residential buildings or warehouses. The advantage of double-glazing is the low cost and weight and the disadvantage is significantly higher loss of heat. Triple-glazing is used mainly in new buildings, low energy and passive houses. The triple-glazed panel has much better thermal insulation, lower condensation, better sound insulation and it is safer in general. With triple-glazing you will get to keep up to 45% more heat in your house and lower your bills for heating at the same time.

AND WHAT ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT?

By purchasing fully-glazed doors you also care for the environment because 96% of materials used in production are fully recyclable.

The aluminum door in RAL colours we make either as an inserted panel, one-sided attachment or double-sided attachment panel. With aluminum doors, it is possible to order Tiffany stained glass or resin stained glass, which is a perfect and significantly cheaper imitation. We offer two basic structures: Standard which is the simplest and consists only of XPS polystyrene and Standard+, where in addition to XPS polystyrene is also an aluminum sheet to increase the stiffness of the door. In addition to these two basic structures, we also offer premium structures with excellent thermal insulation values that are ideal for low energy and passive homes (Term Max and Term Plus), where the emphasis is on the lowest value of U. The TRD structure is ideally suited to extreme conditions where the doors are in dark colours and the sun shines all day – synthetic rubber EPDM absorbs thermal expansions up to 2.5mm.

The table above also contains EVO structure used for Evolution and Evolution INOX glass-aluminum entrance door. On the picture below are the basic structures Standard and Standard+. For example, Standard 24mm structure is the cheapest but its heat transfer coefficient reaches a much lower value of U = 1.39 W / (m²K). It is also the simplest structure made of extruded XPS polystyrene only. This structure provides good insulating properties and adequate stiffness for the price. In addition to the extruded XPS polystyrene, Standard+ structure also has an aluminum sheet that increases the overall stiffness of the door and therefore makes good price / quality choice.

Types of glazing

HPL is a resin-based material produced at high pressures and temperatures. It is harder and has lower thermal expansion than PVC. We have 35 types of glazing and 26 types of decor. For HPL with glazing, it is possible to order Tiffany stained glass or resin staining, which is a perfect and cheaper imitation.

Standard is the simplest structure made of extruded XPS polystyrene. This structure provides good insulating properties and adequate stiffness. In addition to the extruded XPS polystyrene, Standard+ structure also has an aluminum sheet that increases the overall stiffness of the door and is therefore a good price / quality solution. Stabil structure consists of extruded polystyrene XPS and waterproof plywood. It was created in response to the problem of thermal expansion. Stabil provides excellent rigidity and durability even under more challenging conditions. Extrem structure provides the highest stiffness and resistance in the HPL category. It consists of XPS extruded polystyrene, waterproof plywood and aluminum sheet. This structure will provide extraordinary security to your door together with a quality frame and lock.

Types of glazing

Doors with PVC panels form the basis of our catalog. We have 35 types of glazing and 10 types of decor. For PVC doors with glazing it is possible to order Tiffany stained glass or resin staining, which is a perfect and cheaper imitation. In addition, it is also possible to desing the area around glazing in a classic way (Design Classic) or hide the fame in a structure (Design Plus).

Standard is the simplest structure made of extruded XPS polystyrene. The heat transfer coefficient in the base structure Standard with a thickness of 44 mm is U = 0.76 W / (m²K). This structure provides good insulating properties and adequate stiffness. In addition to the extruded XPS polystyrene, Standard+ structure also has an aluminum sheet that increases the overall stiffness of the door and is therefore a good price / quality solution. Universal was originally created for PVC door panels with overlays but is also suitable for other types of PVC doors. It has good insulating properties and high stiffness. Stabil structure consists of extruded polystyrene XPS and waterproof plywood. It was created in response to the problem of thermal expansion. Stabil provides excellent rigidity and durability even under more challenging conditions. Extrem structure provides the highest stiffness and resistance in the PVC category. It consists of XPS extruded polystyrene, waterproof plywood and aluminum sheet. This structure will provide extraordinary security to your door together with a quality frame and lock.
